Goal Setting and Decision Making

This theme aims to teach children self-confidence, perseverance and the ability to solve problems through smart decision making.

Everest 2000 Expedition Leader Byron Smith wants to convey to students, "you can be and do anything you want in life if you believe in yourself and want it badly enough."

In this phase students will continue working on the Read your way to Everest challenge, attempting to attain the goal set in Phase 2.

Other challenges in this phase, related to the Goal Setting theme, include the continuation of Stairway to Everest and Decision Making with Weather. These activities come under the theme Energy and the Human Body.
