Vinson Massif
Located 1200 km's from the South Pole, it is massive. Stretching 13 miles in length and is 8 miles wide, it s situated on a sea of ice. Antarctica's extreme temperatures and weather make climbing Vinson a serious task. It was an emotional summit for me as I stood on top, looking out into the surreal landscape, as this was my Seventh Summit.
